Welcome! We want to support our community and help the environment by establishing a caring culture in Helensburgh and beyond by stopping uniform going to landfill and providing it to local children and families.
The Helensburgh Uniform Bank is an initiative from the Youth Strategy Team at Helensburgh Parish Church. Our vision is to help support local families who may be struggling with the ongoing costs of school uniform by providing new and second hand items for free.
Working alongside local schools we collect items of uniform that have been donated by the community. We then launder, sort and store them at HPC. Then, using our 'ordering' system we make up packs of items ready to be collected from a location that suits you. If you would like to make a donation or need any items please use the contact form on the website or via Facebook.
1. To help families in our community.
2. To reduce the amount of clothing waste.
3. To build a culture of caring.
4. To meet a need.
5. To demonstrate God's love.
We cannot do this on our own, we need your support and rely on your donations. If you can, please consider making a donation of clothing or time. If you would like to volunteer with us please contact: thehub@helensburghcos.org. Thank you.
